Greenbank Farm Wines

Greenbank Farm Wine Shop

Their tasting room and wine shop was opened in 1987 by Chateau Ste. Michelle, who was then the owner of the farm. They popularized Loganberry Wine and Loganberry Liqueur, and produced these two Whidbey’s Washington beverages.

"Visited the wine shop...$1 samples of wines.  I tried the loganberries wines and dry reds which hubby likes. It was very yummy.  The lady was very kind and interesting to get history of the farm. You will enjoy a glass of wine on our front patio or on our picnic tables under the century old apple orchard, with stunning views of one of Western Washington’s first vineyards.

And yes, they do grow wine grapes (Vitis Vinifera) on Whidbey Island!  They plant varieties from the cooler parts of Europe-France's Loire valley and Alsace, Germany and eastern Europe.  Wines that are delicate, crisp and fragrant; outstanding accompaniments to seafood.

At Ott & Murphy Wines, they  handcraft small lots of artisan wines utilizing traditional French and artisan techniques: cold soaks, co-fermentation at crush, hand punch downs, stem Inclusion, surlie aging & battonage, minimal filtration or fining, and carefully balanced oak exposure.
